• Operational Excellence Seminar Journey - Tailor-made by Lean management expert Jianhong Fei for the middle and senior management of enterprises and core operational teams, integrating expert lectures, benchmarking visits and practical seminars, focusing on the main line of “from concept to practice”, in-depth deconstruction of Lean and Operational Excellence Benchmarking Cases, and assisting in the transformation and upgrading of the organization.

    Jointly organized by Lean Six Sigma Committee of Shanghai Management Science Institute (LSSI) and AVIC Lean Six Sigma Research Institute, the “Operational Excellence Study Tour: Into Chengfei Group” was successfully held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Managers from AVIC Lean Six Sigma Institute, Chengfei Group, Chengfei Witte EFI, AVIC Kaitian, Yanfeng headquarters and its subsidiaries gathered together to discuss the exploration history, promotion experience and benchmarking results of each company in the field of Lean Six Sigma, and to jointly promote the in-depth implementation of the concept of Operational Excellence in the manufacturing industry.

    In the afternoon, the seminar on “Scientific Management in the Age of Change” was hosted by Mr. Yu from AVIC Lean Six Sigma Research Institute. Mr. Zhao, director of AVIC Lean Six Sigma Research Institute, Mr. Liu, manager of Chengfei Group, Mr. Chengfei Witte EFI, Mr. Lin, minister of CAIT and Mr. Xi, manager of Yanfeng Headquarters, made a speech with the theme of “History of Six Sigma Management Promotion in AVIC Industry”.     As the first pioneer enterprise to introduce Six Sigma management and creatively implement Lean Six Sigma management system for operational excellence, AVIC has continued to carry out its management innovation activities under the new situation and upgraded them to better meet the needs of enterprise development. The AVIC Lean Six Sigma Research Institute has provided strong guidance and support to AVIC's internal management progression based on its fruitful methodology research.

    The experts had a lively discussion on the development history of Lean Six Sigma in different contexts, thinking innovation, management progression, team identification and participation, process optimization, continuous improvement, and results sharing.

    After the meeting, Jianhong Fei, on behalf of LSSI, presented the newly published Lean Six Sigma Casebook (2nd edition) to the speakers.
